  • This old Cabinet of curiosities is still in its juice. As interesting for children as for adults. A tribute to the flora and the animal world.

  • First of all it is an incredible space with amazing stuff that is actually for sale. There is a gardening area downstairs with some tools and clothing and the taxidermy is upstairs. There are some spectacular pieces like peacock, tiger and bear and then some more attainable like birds. The mounted animals are quite pricy but the butterfly section is preset reasonable, think 25 euro per specimen. If you ask for help, they can get you an empty frame box and you can just pick exactly what you want from drawers and drawers of insects and they will pin them to the board in the frame and you are good to go. For 200 euros you can get a nice framed piece. We also wanted to get a cicada mounted under a glass dome. Karin was helping us with everything and said it usually takes some days to do such a mounting but we only had 2 days to spare. She went to talk with her colleague who said he could have it done in two hours! We agreed to come back the next day and was ready for us. This could make a unique Paris souvenir, kids were amazed!
  • One of the most amazing places I have ever been, it will blow your mind. Wonderful, awesome and like nothing I have ever seen before. A highlight for sure. A must see when you're in Paris
