Boulangerie Poilane is a historical bread shop in Paris that is a must-see for any bread lover or traveling gourmet. Workers here take a passionate approach to their product, constantly looking for the best ingredients and the best production techniques. Even while you shop, ask about their approach to making the delicious loaves, bun, and more.

Bread at Boulangerie Poilane is made of four ingredients, including water, flour, salt, and a rising agent. Sea salt is sourced from Guérande, and the flour is exclusively stone-ground. In addition, a piece of dough from the previous batch of bread--the sourdough--is always used as a starter for the next batch. The type of oven used to bake bread is also important. They bake their breads in wood-fired ovens, and these ovens are fed with waste wood that cannot be used for any other industry. • Although the country bread is a sign product, a small size bread called bread de me is a favorite of our house (especially son). In the pan, I also buy the sublayer every time. The refreshments is perfect for a simple taste. I saw a lot of word of mouth that the clerk's attitude is not good, I have a heart ache. As far as I know, Madam Clerk is kind.

  • One of the best Parisian bakeries, which is a lot to say. They Also produce delicious galettes (at 30 €/kgr), which will soon taste my compañeros of office.
