Walt Disney Studios Park, Marne-la-Vallee

The second Disney theme park at this Paris location, Walt Disney Studios Park dedicates its exhibits to show business and film production in Hollywood. The park divides into several "studio lots.” Toon Studio features Disney and Pixar characters such as Crush from “Finding Nemo,” the Genie from “Aladdin,” Lightning McQueen from “Cars,” and Buzz Lightyear and other characters from “Toy Story.” The Backlot brings you through a true-to-life industrial movie backlot, showcasing the thrills of movie making without the hype. The Production Courtyard focuses on the production of Hollywood movies and its mythos, including legendary actors. Here you’ll find Hollywood-inspired street sets and "Place des Stars,” featuring a reproduction of the facilities in a modern-day movie lot. • Totally disappointing experience of Walt Disney studios. Packed, extremity long queues with lots of closed attractions. Obviously now trying to get you to pay more for their new fast pass system. Also...  more »

  • Loved it. So much better than Disneyland. More seating, people didn't push to see any shows or block you. My youngest granddaughter loved it especially the slinky. Long wait but staff let me wait in queue and then pass her over from pushchair once I was at the front so no one pushed in and no rides broke down, they did in the main park, often. Frank Sinatra look alike was great too. I'd spend more time here than the main park if I ever went again.. too be honest I really don't want to go again but would for my grandchildren.
  • The studio’s decorations as in display wise (big buzz light) for their park are a lot better than Disneyland itself sine you feel as you are on of the characters. I really love the behind the scenes set just like Universal studio & car stunt show (it was very catchy and different from what I have seen so far). But the park itself need expansion as you can finish the attractions quite fast (including going to the shows, go on a ride for kids the visit Disney stores). They should definitely expand more as there are definitely more potentials! Besides people should consider using combinations of Fast Pass and Disney app to get real time waiting time. This way you can save a lot of time and make your decisions efficiently on which rides or shows to go. The positive side was since park was small, i saw more Disney characters here than in Disneyland. Also the self-service restaurants were amazing when it comes to price and quality of food (you get burger 🍔 , fries🍟, drink 🍹 & desserts 🍨 for great deal). On top of that there are staff members who won’t let people take the table to reserve it and only those people who are done with ordering with tray can go to the seating areas. The merchandise are 95% the same in Disney village and Disneyland. So it kind of made me disappointed as it would have been nice to have variations. I get the point of spreading the products means visitors would spread around. furthermore, if they are fixing something they should give discount as some kind of compensation. Also they should add fast pass for this turtle ride as it’s one of the most popular ride so without magic hours ... we are speaking about you need to expect to wait in the very long line. It was lovely experience but I am not sure if I will ever go back just yet.
