  • Fast-passing in COLMAR, we opted for this associative museum located in a 13th century convent, initially. COLMAR is a historic city full of surprises; the UNTERLINDEN museum is one of them. We are not disappointed. We enjoyed among other things: - the historic site spread over 3 rooms and a passage to the canal, open since I believe since 1953 - the tips to facilitate the visit and the welcome reserved for visitors - the magnificent cloister - sculptures of the Middle Ages and the Re birth - the few paintings of MONET, PICASSO, BAZAINE, DUBUFFET, etc. - the archaeological collections that trace human evolution from its origin - and the altarpiece of ISSENHEIM museum jewel!!! A nice visit to redo and advise!!
