The tallest building in South America, Sky Costanera offers impressive panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The lift takes you 300 m (984 ft) up, to the top observation deck in just two minutes. Make this the last stop on your journey to get the overall picture and place every attraction you visited in its proper location. If you wait until sunset, this might be one of the highlights of your visit to Santiago. The first observation level is enclosed and air-conditioned, while the second is open, which means that it can be chilly or hot depending on the weather. The multi-lingual signage provides explanations for some of the landmarks you'll see. Sky Costanera Reviews
Para quem gosta de marcar presença em pontos fora da curva está aí uma boa opção: conhecer o prédio mais alto da América do Sul e um dos elevadores mais rápido, 7 andares por segundo. Sim, o prédio me... more »For those who like to make presence in points off the curve is there a good option: to know the tallest building in South America and one of the fastest elevators, 7 floors per second. Yes, the building measures 300 meters high! Arriving just before sunset you can enjoy a good live sound and taste a good wine, as "Regalo" of the carrier. We were there in the summer and the dusk is beautiful.
A aventura começa no elevador, que sobe os 62 andares em um minuto. O valor por pessoa é cerca de R$ 100,00, achei bem salgado, mas vale, e como vale!! Chegando lá, só emoção!!! Que vista maravilhosa ... more »The adventure begins in the elevator, which rises 62 floors in one minute. The value per person is about R $100.00, I found it well salted, but worth, and how it goes!! Getting there, just excitement!!! What a wonderful view of the city, I stayed several minutes sitting and enjoying the view. In the background, you can see the Andes. The first floor is all closed, but it can climb to the floor above the escalator and there the roof is open and makes it quite cold. I went around 11am and had about seven people, I managed to take several pictures. It must be beautiful in the sunset or at night, but it's the times that most people have. There are cell phone chargers up there. Anyway, super recommend, was one of the best rides I did in Chile.
The Costaneira Sky is awesome! The view of the city of Santiago and the sunset is out of this world. I visited Santiago in December and the sky was completely blue, without any cloud. It was a full moon and I could see from one side the sunset and the other, the moon rising on a snowy peak of the Andes! It was surreal. There was a musical group playing local tunes and wine tasting. The support staff was very helpful and kind.
Amazing all round views of the city and mountains beyond, but loses one star because the clarity of views into the far distance is affected by the smog. At 300m high this structure towers over the surrounding buildings. There are two decks, with the upper deck open to the sky. However the best photos are taken from the lower deck because the sunlight striking the floor on the upper deck creates back reflexions in the large glass panel windows. Also the upper deck, I could only get half way round as the other half is reserved for corporate dining. It costs $15000 CP for a ticket to the top, it was surprisingly empty when I went late morning on Monday.
