St. Lawrence Market Reviews
Take your time buying fresh amazing food and bring it home. Bit of a madhouse at lunch but explore and then decide! more »
Went to visit the market on a Friday eve. Market is really cool with lots of vendors and great stuff to buy. However, don't expect real bargains. Very expensive. Halibut and King crab legs both both..... more »
This market is incredible. It is the oldest market in Toronto and the vibe is just perfect. You can still see evidence of how life was over 150 years ago. I take my class every year for a tour with the official historian for the market and surrounding area. I highly recommend booking Bruce Bell. The tour is fun and informative and then you can eat the most incredible food and bring home the best fish, seafood, cheese, fresh produce, and baked goods and more!
Signature landmark downtown Toronto. Long history with a wonderful array of meat cuts, sausages, fresh fruit and vegetables ...much of which is difficult to find in your local grocery. A great visual and gastonome experience; an oasis that is unusual in the middle of downtown big city. I recommend you simply decide to go if you haven't. Check the website first.
