Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, North Vancouver

Bridge Park Must See
Don't look down as you cross over a 70 m (230 ft) deep valley in Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The park's star attraction, a 140 m (460 ft) suspension bridge, was originally built in 1889 and was completely reconstructed in 1956. Once you've made it across, lose yourself in the jungle canopy via a network of seven treetop walks built in 2004. You can add to your experience with an eco-tour through the surrounding forest. • We wanted to come here for dinner at 7pm. When we arrived we were told by the woman at the entrance station That we had to all pay $59 for each of us (to adults and 2 teens) just for the entrance...  more »

  • Fun times! It was raining heavily when we arrived, but the forest was still pretty. I recommend visiting if you want to feel like hiking without really hiking. All the paths we followed seemed very safe, even for little kids. I removed a star because the place could be a bit less touristy.
  • This place is spectacular. If you are in Vancouver then this place you should not miss. (This place needs at least 1.5 hours) Starting with the tickets for adult it’s $53.95, senior it’s $48.95, students it’s $39.95, youth it’s $29.95, child it’s $16.95, under 6 it’s free. (Of course + TAX) Once you enter, there is a story Centre where you will hear a history of this place. Then there is a Capilano suspension bridge. Boy! If you’re first time on such bridge it’s little scary! This thing wobbles a lot. Also, this bridge is really long than you think! On the other side of the bridge, the views are out of this world! The lighting on the trees feels like your are in heaven! There is also treetops adventure, which is really awesome. Lastly, on the same side of the entrance there is a cliff walking. Additionally, the staff here is extremely helpful and friendly.
