This place is nice. Was a little disappointed that the small bird aviary was so full of zebra finches. Can see those in most any pet shop and the are so many colorful and less common finches to be see... more »
The place isn't bad, but the animals are kept in a confined space where as in nature there's no limit. Still I went because I have toddlers and they've been into parrots for quite some time. I, like everyone else thought the experience would be amazing and I'd take lots of pictures of my toddlers for them to look back on and remember loving these birds. They did have a great time, their favorite part was definitely feeding the birds. I just didn't get to capture those moments because they also make money off of the great picture opportunities. With toddlers one or two pictures you take won't suffice. There's 10 bad pictures before a good one. I bought the pictures, but was greatly disappointed that they take your opportunity to capture the moments you want as many times as you please. For the price you're paying they should gift you one. I think I can safely say we all go thinking about capturing our own experience or that of our children. As for the animals I didn't see any signs of mistreatment but the turtle in a water tank was a bit sad considering all others have more space. So in conclusion I think that it's not worth spending so much money here. The idea most people go with is getting these amazing shots otherwise just go to a zoo and see a lot more.
This is a great family adventure! The kids love seeing and touching and interacting with certain animals! Feeding the parakeets is our favourite part plus you can get the photo after! We love coming here every year! It is amazing and so peaceful. Food prices are also very reasonable! I suggest coming here!
