  • I enjoyed cycling from Japan via Vancouver and Calgary. You can also run on the expressway, but the parkway inside is small, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. It seems that wild animals will come out, and the bicycle is the same speed as the prey, so be careful.

  • If you want to take a more scenic route take Canada 1A (Bow Valley Parkway) instead of Canada 1. The views are amazing and we were able to see a black bear up close as well as a grizzly, elk and deer.  more »
