Trip Planner: South America / Brazil / State of Mato Grosso do Sul / Bodoquena / Cachoeira Boca da Onca
Eleven waterfalls with three stops for swimming and a chance to rappel make the Cachoeira Boca da Onca a must see for the nature lover in you. You'll climb up 800 stairs to the top of waterfalls that descend like veils over the craggy rocks. Once there, you will rappel in a pair over the ledge down 90 m (295 ft) into a gorge. This is a good option for a beginner to the outdoors, as you will be guided through the area by a trained professional and a maintained wooden walkway make up the trail. Before arriving, brush up on your Portuguese because not all the guides speak English. However, language skill won't be needed around the delicious meal they will lay before you at the end of your tour. Use Inspirock's suggestions to plan your Bodoquena trip and find the best activities and attractions for your vacation.
