Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes, Villa La Angostura

Hike the peaceful trails of Parque Nacional Los Arrayanes, home to 300-year-old arrayan trees, endemic to the Andes. The park was created in 1971 with the sole purpose of protecting the fragile evergreen trees, known for their smooth cinnamon-colored bark and small white flowers. You can hike the 12 km (7.4 mi) from the park entrance to get to the forest, rent a mountain bike, or take a boat ride on Nahuel Huapi Lake. Stroll along the wooden pathway to admire these rare trees, and try to spot foxes, pudus, guanacos, and bush monkeys. • What a beautiful place!! It's amazing that there are so many old-fashioned trees, but the dessert strawberry is the Arrayanes Forest, with beautiful walkways and a totally wooden tea house.

  • every time I go to villa I do not miss the occasion of going to the forest of arrayanes ,( and I have already been several times ), I totally recommend it, twice I went on the catamaran that leaves mansa bay and the others in which it leaves the bay brava, I prefer that . apart on the way back (at least until the last time I went in February) you could give cookies to the seagulls, you put your hand up with a cookie and in flight you'll rip the seagulls take them out of their hands is a unique show, apart from the guide is great explaining Recommended

  • Easy access, the sidewalks are free to get in. You can take a boat trip to surround the island, get by trekking or even mountain bikes. There are several spots to shoot some amazing views. There are public bathrooms in the entrance.
  • Beautiful place, we did the one way trip by boat, the return one walking. This is recommended (unless you do both walking) since it is easier. Bring water and something to eat. The forest is just beautiful. It takes about 2 hours to do the boat and the Arrayanes, then about 3 the trekking.
