Trip Planner: South America / Argentina / Central Argentina / Province of Buenos Aires / Tigre / Delta El Tigre
Explore a vast network of waterways and canals at Delta El Tigre, one of the region's most important former trading ports. Formed by the combination of the Parana River and several smaller streams, the delta long served as an outlet for the wood and fruit trade from the interior. Hop aboard one of the delta's many boat tours to explore the lush nature up close and get a glimpse of colonial-era mansions, waterfront settlements, and other landmarks along the way. Alternatively, you can rent a kayak or canoe to paddle along at your own pace, an activity popular with many weekend-trippers from the capital. Plan your visit to Delta El Tigre and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Tigre journey planner.

On the initial margins a cemetery of boats and, along the river, some houses and very high woods, no paradiseacal landscapes. I don't recommend it.

The walk in the delta is beautiful, not only the landscapes but observing the way of life of the people who live in the islands. There are also a large number of cabins that can be rented to spend a few days.
Cozy and beautiful place to meet, a municipality very close to Buenos Aires, stroll on the streets of Tigre and take the boat ride, can not stay out of your travel schedule!
