  • Beautiful to reach the Black glacier, and the image of the Tronador is imposing that makes forget the way to get there.. If you go in your own car, you have to keep in mind that the road is gravel, are approximately 2 hours of travel, is not in good condition and the driver has to be patient, prudent and if they go in a car that is not a 4x4 feels the "rattle" , I did it in a rented car and it still suffered too much. It is worth it, at the base of the Tronador there is a confectionery with the prices similar to those of the city of Bariloche. They offer sandwiches, minutes, cakes, dish of the day, drinks, coffee, tea, etc... The ascent is from 10 to 14 HS and the descent from 16 to 18 hours, then it is double hand. The entrance to the National Park is $160, the retirees do not pay. The excursion was made on Sunday 3/3.

  • How do I travel alone take the excursion that leaves from Bariloche, travel in a combi only with 8 passengers plus what made the experience even more enjoyable in the sense that the coordinator JUAN was just giving the fair explanations, put music excellently the route Inviting so to contemplate a voyage.. With so much to observe! Leaving Bariloche you can walk a path where the landscape of the lakes is a real relax.. Each with a different tone.. Among them the Gutierrez and the Mascardi. When you arrive at the ranger station you have to pay entry, and from there on the landscape changes you enter a path of ascent in the midst of a wonderful forest.. Arriving later to the bridge of the Manso River where a stop is made to observe the jumps.. Walk a little.. From there in more already Pampa Linda awaits us.. Pleasantly surprised of the place.. With a camping called #los vuriloches ' crossing with a restaurant where the quick attention, the friendliness of the staff, the hygiene of the place deserve a separate paragraph, there is also a very nice inn, at least so it looked, the reason for the description of this place Méritua Because if you're a lover of Trekk.. The trails are unbelievable.. signposted and with information provided on site in a small attendance office.. Perhaps the information is useful for those who have the possibility of mobility and camping and like to walk. From there on we expected the majestic Tronador and at the foot of the Black Glacier.. You just need to be quiet, wait for the ice to peel off and hear it thunder.. It's beautiful!! Unforgettable.. To conclude and in return the guide invited us to walk to a jacket.. The devil's throat.. It rained there.. Towards a little cold.. Nothing that can not be solved with a tea house chocoñac that is a few meters from the entrance of the path to the waterfall. The way back is an invitation again to relax after a long and excellent tour.

  • I went here In August during there winter, and it was great, there was some snow in back in the town. But not much, here there was tons to play with. Also, the glacier was pretty, the lake was frozen and you can see the you are in the middle of the andes, and you can feel you are in a glacier. It was quite cold though at around -6:)
  • Excellent experience doing the walk to the base of the Tronador. Indispensable to go with clothes and shoes suitable for a crossing of between 4 and 6 hours of trekking... Summer season. Excellent to be able to spend the night in the mountain hut where almost you touch the stars...
