Trip Planner: South America / Argentina / Patagonia / Province of Rio Negro / San Carlos de Bariloche / Centro Civico
The symbol of the city, Centro Civico surprises many visitors with its Alpine-style architecture and fine views of Nahuel Huapi Lake. Made from distinctive greenish stone and dating back to 1940, the complex houses many of the city's important offices, such as police headquarters, a library, and the city council. The most popular part of the complex is the Francisco P. Moreno Museum of Patagonia, which displays everything from the natural to the cultural history of the region. The square in front of the complex is dominated by the statue of General Julio Argentino Roca, former president of Argentina. A visit to Centro Civico represents just the start of the adventure when you use our San Carlos de Bariloche trip builder site to plot your vacation.

There is a variety of shops, tourist attention, excellent views, National Library and beautiful public buildings. It's very clean and well kept. I do not pay for the photos with the Dogs San Bernardo, I think they are fiolando, but other than that, is mandatory stop.

Nothing to do with the memory I had of such a emblematic place in Bariloche. a shame.
It’s a good time for family time, is so beautiful and is near many cultural things of Bariloche.
Very beautiful and relaxing. The square has Wi-Fi.
