  • It is the longest path starting from the village. Almost 25 Km (roundtrip). Don't do it the next day from another long or difficult path. Unless you have a very good physical condition. Of the trails I toured around the area, it was the least I liked in particular. Maybe it's worth trying to do it! There's nothing written about tastes. Recommendation: Just do it on a cloudless day. Its (unique) award of arrival is the panoramic 360 º. Recommendation 2: Carry more water than usual, because unlike the other trails there is almost no (only a arroyito almost reaching the end) to recharge the water bottle as if there are in the other lengths of the village.

  • It is one of the classic trails when you go to El Chaltén. It has a slope that is not very pronounced but constant until reaching the viewpoint, which makes it easy to enjoyed. The journey to the viewpoint is not as attractive as they are those that lead to the lagoon of the 3 or the Laguna Torre but every so often opens the panorama and you have beautiful views. When you reach the hill, you have a wonderful panoramic view that includes the Fitz Roy, the Cerro Torre (and its lagoon) and the Cerro Solo. If you still have energy, the strawberry dessert is not confomarse with the lookout and climb to the top of the hill itself (to the left of the viewpoint): Demand a much more important effort but you get a view of 360 degrees incredible because in addition to the Leaven Onados (Fitz Roy, Cerro Torre, Cerro Solo), you can see Lake VIEDMA, the valley and the village of El Chaltén itself. Priceless.
